Obstacles facing the application of physical education in schools in Lattakia Governorate
Abstract
The research aimed to identify the differences in the obstacles to the application of physical education and sports in the schools of Lattakia Governorate from the point of view of some of those in charge of the educational process according to the gender variable. It also aimed to identify the differences in the obstacles to implementing physical education and sports in schools in Lattakia Governorate depending on the workplace variable, The study was conducted in some schools in Latakia Governorate through a questionnaire that was distributed to a sample of (8) counselors and (400) teachers and schools from the research community who were selected by a random stratified method, The descriptive approach was used using the survey method due to its suitability to the nature and requirements of the research, and to identify the differences in the obstacles to the application of physical education and sports, we used mathematical methods and standard deviations. Pearson correlation coefficient, Sieberman-Brown correction factor, Mann-Whitney test, and Kruskal and Liss test, according to the results, there are no differences in the obstacles related to financial capabilities and the curriculum for implementing physical education and sports in schools in Lattakia Governorate according to the gender variable, and there are no differences according to the work variable.
