دراسة تأثير المعالجة بالأتورفاستاتين على مستوى حمض البول في المصل لدى مرض ارتفاع الكولسترول
Abstract
درس تأثير المعالجة بالأتورفاستاتين على مستوى حمض البول في المصل لدى مرضى ارتفاع الكولسترول، على اعتبار أن حمض البول عامل خطورة قلبي وعائي مستقل.
تمت دراسة 50 مريضاً لديهم ارتفاع في كولسترول الدم وغير خاضعين لأي علاج خافض للكولسترول.
قمنا بمعايرة حمض البول في المصل لدى هؤلاء المرضى قبل البدء بالمعالجة 20mg/ يومياً، ومن ثم أجريت معايرة أخرى لحمض البول في المصل بعد12 أسبوعاً من العلاج.
تبين من دراستنا الإحصائية وجود فروقات جوهرية بين مستوى حمض البول قبل البدء بالمعالجة بالأتورفاستاتين وبعده، أي أنه مبدئيا" يمكن القول إن الأتورفاستاتين يلعب دوراً في خفض مستوى حمض البول في المصل، وهذا يحتاج لدراسات لاحقة على عدد أكبر من المرضى.
The effect of atorvastatin treatment on the level of serum uric acid had been studied in patients of hyper cholesterolemia, as the uric acid is considered an independent cardiovascular risk factor.
50 patients of hyper cholesterolemia who did not have any kind of lowering cholesterol therapy had been studied. We had analyzed the serum uric acid in the patients before applying the Atorvastatin 20 mg\a day. We the analyzed it again after 12 weeks of the start of treatment.
Our statistical study showed that there were significant differences between the level of serum uric acid before the treatment of Atorvastatin and after it. We can accept that Atorvastatin may have a reducing effect on the level of uric acid in the serum.
