Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقدير حجم مشكلة أورام المعدة الخبيثة في السنوات الخمس الأخيرة 2002-2007, وإلقاء الضوء على تظاهراتها السريرية الأشيع, وتحديد دور الاستقصاء والكشف المبكر لتحسين الإنذار.

أجريت الدراسة على 122 حالة ورم خبيث في المعدة راجعت عيادة وقسم الجراحة في مشفى الأسد الجامعي بدمشق بين عامي 2002-2007، ودرس توزع الحالات بحسب العمر والجنس والأعراض التي راجع المريض بها، كذلك درست الحالات بحسب مكان توضع الورم في المعدة وتوزعها بحسب التشريح المرضي, وبحسب العمل الجراحي المجرى والمضاعفات الناتجة عنه.

كان معدل إصابة الذكور أكثر من معدل إصابة الإناث عموماً (70,5% ذكور إلى 29,5% إناث)، ولوحظ ارتفاع معدل الإصابة في الأعمار الصغيرة نسبياً لدى مراجعينا، إذ قلت أعمار 16,2% منهم عن سن الأربعين، وتزايد معدل الإصابة مع تقدم العمر، وكانت ذروة الإصابة في العقد السابع (31,6%). تضمنت الأعراض والعلامات التي راجع بها المرضى الألم الشرسوفي والإقياءات، نقص الشهية ونقص الوزن، التغوط الزفتي، والإقياء المدمى.

This study aims at estimating the problem of malignant gastric tumors in the last five years 2002-2007 and focusing on the commonest clinical manifestations, in addition to determining the impact of early diagnosis on prognosis.

The study involved 122 patients with malignant gastric neoplasms. All patients were admitted in the General Surgery Department of Al Assad University Hospital in Damascus. The study involved determining location of the tumor, surgical intervention, complications, and histopathology results.

Males were generally affected more than females. There was an increase in incidence in young patients, as 16.2% of patients were younger than 40 years old. We noted a gradual increase in incidence with age, with the maximal incidence in the seventh decade.
