التقصي عن فعالية حاصرات مستقبلات الأنجيوتنسين II في التخفيف من الاضطرابات الاستقلابية الناجمة عن المعالجة بالقشرانيات السكرية
Abstract
تعد القشرانيات السكرية من المجموعات الدوائية شائعة الاستعمال في معالجة أمراض المناعة الذاتية مثل التهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي. إذ إنها قد تستخدم في المعالجة لفترات طويلة، مما قد يعرض المريض لخطرالتعرض للعديد من آثارها الجانبية, مثل زيادة مستويات الغلوكوز والأنسولين والشحوم في الدم. ولقد كان هدف هذا البحث هو التقصي عن الفعالية المحتملة لحاصرات مستقبلات الأنجيوتنسين (losartan) في التخفيف من الاضطرابات الاستقلابية المحرضة بالقشرانيات السكرية (dexamethasone)، وذلك عند جرذان من سلالة Wistar. كما تم التقصي عن هذه الفعالية عند جرذان حقنت ﺒ complete freund̉ s adjuvant بهدف استحداث مرض التهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي لديها. وقد أثبتت هذه الدراسة أن مشاركة losartan مع dexamethasone قد خففت من المستويات المصلية المرتفعة للغلوكوز والأنسولين وثلاثيات الغليسيريد الناجمة عن dexamethasone.
Glucocorticoids are widely used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. They have been used for long periods leading the patient to suffer from their side effects such as development of hyperglecemia, hyperinsulinemia, and hyperlipidemia.
In this study, we have investigated the potential effect of angiotensin II receptor blockers (losartan) in attenuation the development of glucocorticoidَs induced metabolic disorders (dexamethasone) in Wistar rats. We have also traced this effect in rats injected with complete freund̉s adjuvant to induce rheumatoid arthritis.
In this study, we have found that the combination of losartan with dexamethasone reduces the elevated serum levels of glucose, insulin, and triglycerides induced by administration of glucocorticoids.
