Abstract
This paper examines the multiplicity of investigations that Adonis fought in, within his book "The Time of Poetry", he sought through it a theoretical formulation of the new poetry, which has transformed the theory of ancient poetry, it even turned on it; As one of the new poetic issues he touched upon: The issue of poetic vision and the subsequent detection and creation, and the issue of the poetic form, which should be renewed and out of the old form, Including poetic music and poetry, and the issue of poetic language that should go beyond the boundaries of the old language, and the issue of the mystery that has become distinct in the new poetry, thus, until reaching the issue of the poetic function that Adonis supposed it must be assigned to the new poet, it must also be transformed and differentiated from the position of the poets who preceded it.
